*boggles* Wow, I haven't updated in a week. And it's not as if I haven't had anything to say, but I guess I've mostly been saying it via commenting and IMing like mad since I got back from Bloomingt00bage weekend. So, let's see...this time last week I was in Bloomington with the t00bs, and I had already been tackle!glomped and goosed repeatedly by my ebil muse even though tabiji and I had only been there maybe an hour or so by that point. Note: the goosing did not let up all weekend, but I did give as good as I got. Oooh, and there is even picture proof in some instances. :))

Okay, so after meeting up a the lovely _lore's, we proceeded to head to the hotel and made our kick-ass HBP shirts, complete with the HBP cover on the fronts and what was basically a user info page of who was there on the backs. Needless to say, we were a big hit at the Borders party, everyone wanted to know where we got them. Dark Marks were gotten, pictures were taken, and butterbeer and Veritaserum was drunk while we milled and t00bed about, waiting for midnight. A very authentic looking Hermione was spotted, lugging around Hogwarts, A History, in what looked like a genuine leather hand-stitched covering over what I assume was some sort of book shaped box.

Once books were in hand, back to the hotel we went, me checking to see if the spoiler I saw was true (it was) first before diving right in. Okay, maybe not "right" in, I did flip around the end a bit and something that caught my eye prompted me to go flying across the hall into the other room, toddler fisting in glee while jumping up and down and sort of incoherently squeeing until I eventually collapsed in giggles on the floor. _lore, athene_51, kellie528, and tabiji I hope you enjoyed the show. ;)

Thinking back on the weekend, I truly think that's why I haven't posted anything in a week. Reading with a group allows you to dissect and squee and comfort and discuss almost immediately, and we did a lot of it over the weekend. Another reason I haven't posted anything in a week? Well, Monday and Tuesday, I was still recovering from the weekend and the loss of the t00bs and getting my butt out there applying for stuff, but from Wednesday on, I've been in this creative zone. Not creative as in writing creative, though I have poked some bunnies into fruitition, none of my own, of course. But creative as in making things. And boy, have I been making things.

So, I'm making things, and slowly making my way back through my now autographed (courtesy of the t00bs) copy of HBP. Oh, and already madly planning for shoemaster's visit, which is in less than a month or so, depending on when she gets off her bum and decides and books which days she's definitely going to be here. Maybe by that time my nicely scraped up knee will be healed, Ally. Megan + tennis with the hubby on a 90 something degree day + hard court tennis court = OUCH.
