Had a lovely time Friday night, didn't even check in when we got back, so the first I knew of the Great LJ Blackout was around 1:00 p.m. yesterday when I finally got off my butt and logged on. I survived it fairly well. Now if my Y!M and AIM weren't working as well, that would have been another story. What I am not surviving so well is everything coming back online the way it is:
triumvirate is on the Mad Cow cluster, which now isn't expected to be back online until 10 p.m. PST tomorrow night, and a few character journals, which I don't believe are on the Mad Cow cluster, aren't coming back up either. :-L Ahh, waiting games, how I despise thee.
Over dinner on Friday night, Eric and I ended up having a baby name conversation. Now, we're about another year or two from that point right now, but this was sparked by talking about Topher Grace, and how it's short for Christopher, which I thought was a cute name. It was so adorable, Eric blushed and had this funny little half-smile on his face throughout the whole conversation, which lasted all dinner. And we came up came up with a few more boy's name combinations that we both liked, like Ethan Thomas. Jury's still out on Christopher for Eric. He tends to lean toward names that end with an N: Ethan, Brendan, Evan, Owen, Nathan, Colin, the exceptions being Nicholas, Jacob, and Luke. We really didn't get into girl's names, but I think we're pretty set on Natalia/Natalie and Ekaterina/Ekatrina (Kat/Kate/Katie) right now. We rarely waver from them when we do discuss names, but the middle name combinations are all over the place. :))
